Anisa Kamadoli Costa is a globally recognized leader in sustainability, corporate responsibility, and strategic philanthropy. At the India House Project, Anisa brings deep expertise in integrating sustainability into the core business strategy, guiding purpose-led decision-making, and shaping long-term impact frameworks for organizations.
As Chief Sustainability Officer at Rivian and the founding President and Trustee of the Rivian Foundation, Anisa leads the company’s global sustainability agenda, oversees its climate and community priorities, and drives partnerships that advance environmental stewardship and resilient ecosystems.
Prior to Rivian, Anisa spent nearly two decades at Tiffany & Co., where she became the company’s first Chief Sustainability Officer and served as Chairman and President of The Tiffany & Co. Foundation. She led pioneering initiatives in responsible sourcing, marine conservation, and impact measurement—establishing Tiffany & Co. as a global benchmark in sustainability and purpose-driven luxury.
An experienced board leader, Anisa serves on the boards of the Kering Foundation in the Americas, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, and Friends of the High Line. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and serves on Conservation International’s Leadership Council.
Her leadership is marked by a strong commitment to collaboration, measurable impact, and advancing sustainability as a driver of business transformation—perspectives she now brings to the Advisory Board of the India House Project.
